RadioACTive is a show for grassroots activists, community builders, punk rock farmers, and DIY makers and musicians. Thank you for supporting our Challenges for Good during Fall Radiothon. Together, you helped raise $7,731 for community radio, and unlocked matching on-air grants for our community partners: League of Women Voters of Utah, Better Utah Institute, Angel Paws, Operation Population, Comunidades Unidas, and Red Acre Center. Friday, Oct. 4: Punk Rock Farmer Friday with more true tales from the agrihood with Brendan and Carly Coyle who are launching a sustainable cidery and orchard in Kamas. Plus, Food Justice Coalition, irreplaceable poets, Skywatcher Leo T, and homegrown music from The Lingo, one of many local bands playing Honey Days @ Urban Lounge. 

Monday, Oct. 7: RadioACTive Pop! with Olivia Jaramillo gets to the heart of reality dating TV with a former KRCL DJ—Barby Garcia, who did a round of MILF Manor earlier this year. Plus, Cumbia Prom!    

Tuesday, Oct. 8: Did the Beehive State make or break the Red Cross Hurricane Helene Challenge? Find out when Red Cross Utah’s Michael Smauldon returns with a recap. Plus, the International Committee in Salt Lake City warm clothing drive and Light One Candle program.

Wednesday, Oct. 9: Black Physicians of Utah return to talk about family fitness, from physical to mental and emotional. The nonprofit has 3 events coming up to cover all the bases.

Thursday, Oct. 10: RadioACTive, the Talanoa Way, with Stephanie Mahina. Tune in to talk story as we center our Pasifika community.

Friday, Oct. 11: Punk Rock Farmer Friday with more true tales from the agrihood, BOOtanicals at Red Butte Garden, Skywatcher Leo T, and homegrown.
